The short version: the CSV file you analyze stays on your own computer. The only personal data involved in a purchase is what is needed to process the order and deliver a license key.

1. Data processed inside the application

Stripe Money Detective runs locally on your Mac. The CSV file you choose is parsed and analyzed on your machine, and the investigation report is generated and stored locally.

• Your exported Stripe data is not uploaded to any server.
• The application does not ask for Stripe API keys, passwords, or other Stripe credentials.
• We do not operate a database of your financial data.

2. Data processed when you buy

Purchases are handled by a third-party payment provider. That provider collects the payment information required to complete the transaction. We do not receive or store your card details.

To issue and deliver a license, we process the email address and the order reference associated with the purchase. The license key itself contains the email address and order reference, and is sent to the email address used at checkout.

3. License storage

Once activated, the license key is stored locally on your Mac so the complete investigation results remain unlocked in the application.

4. Email delivery

The license key is delivered by email through an email delivery service. That service processes the recipient address and message content for the purpose of sending the license email.

5. This website

gothebot.com is a static website. It does not set cookies for analytics, and it does not load third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

6. What we do not do

• We do not sell or share the order data described above.
• We do not use your Stripe data for advertising or profiling.
• We do not access your Stripe account.

7. Retention

Order and license records are kept for as long as needed to support the license you purchased and to handle support and refund requests.

8. Your requests

To ask what data is associated with your purchase, or to request a correction or deletion, use the contact page.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated as the product and purchasing setup change. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
