Refund Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026 · Applies to Stripe Money Detective by GoTheBot
Stripe Money Detective is sold as a one-time payment that unlocks the complete investigation results in the application. This page explains how refund requests are handled.
Current status: online checkout is being prepared and is not open yet. This policy describes how refund requests will be handled once purchases are live, and how to reach us in the meantime. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record.
1. What you are buying
Stripe Money Detective is currently sold for $9.99 as a one-time payment for a lifetime license. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The payment is taken by Paddle.com as merchant of record.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email support@gothebot.com using the email address that was used for the purchase. You can also reach us through the contact page. Please include:
- the email address used at checkout,
- the order reference or receipt you received by email,
- a short description of the reason for the request.
Refund requests may also be raised with Paddle, the merchant of record for your purchase, at paddle.net.
3. Refund window
You may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase. Requests made after that period are still reviewed, but are not covered by this stated window. This policy does not say that all sales are final.
4. How requests are reviewed
Each request is reviewed individually. Refunds are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record for your purchase, in accordance with the Paddle buyer terms applicable to your transaction, the circumstances of that transaction, and applicable law. Because a license key is delivered electronically, an approved refund also results in the associated license being deactivated or invalidated.
This policy does not grant refund rights beyond those provided by Paddle or by applicable law, and it does not remove any refund rights you have under applicable law.
5. Processing time
We do not publish a fixed processing window. Requests are acknowledged after review, and any refund is issued through the payment provider involved in the original transaction, which may take additional time to appear on your statement.
6. Cases where a refund may not apply
- Requests that cannot be matched to a purchase.
- License keys that have been shared, resold, or published.
- Abuse of the refund process.
7. Delivery problems
If you completed a purchase but did not receive your license key, contact us before requesting a refund. Delivery issues are resolved by issuing the license key.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as purchasing goes live. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
9. Contact
Refund requests and questions go to support@gothebot.com or through the contact page.
